Caramel Apple Cookie Cobbler

Warm melt in your mouth cookie cobbler served best with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 5 large peeled and diced apples
  • ⅔ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 ¼ cups of Caramel Apple Cookie Mix
  • 1 cup of melted unsalted butter
  • 15 soft caramels, remove wrapper and cut in half

Directions

In a large sauté pan add apples, sugar, and lemon juice. Place over the oven at medium heat. Allow time to cook down so the apples are tender.

In a 9-x13-inch baking dish spray with baking spray or use butter. Peal and dice the apples then cut the caramel pieces in half. Add the caramel to the apples and pour into the baking dish.

Sprinkle the cookie mix over the top of the apples and pour the melted butter over the cookie mix.

Place in the oven at 350F for roughly 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Cut into squares and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
